Papers, Abstracts
and Presentations
Information for chairs
and speakers
The approximately 130 presentations of the congress have been selected and
developed by the Committees of the Nordic Road Association. No call for
papers has been issued.
For each presentation, a 1/4 - 1 page abstract shall be sent to the
organisers no later than 31. March 2008. The abstract will be
included in a printed documentation distributed before the sessions.
As an introduction to the series, the text is used in the presentation of
the scientific programme.
The full paper will be on the congress memory stick the participants receive
on arrival. Thus, the paper should be delivered no later than 5. May 2008.
No delayed material will be
published.
Discussion moderators decide if discussion participants are also asked for
papers; in that case, they shall follow the schedule above.
Some speakers prefer to use overheads only, with no paper. In that case, the
overhead presentation is expected by 5. May. For these presentations
we do, however, also demand a text abstract, to be delivered by 31. March.
(Please remember that the memory stick documentation needs to be understood,
for overheads also, even when nobody is there to explain.)
All presentations shall be delivered to the Congress technical services
the day before, or at least the morning before, the presentation is
made. If You send in an overhead series for the memory stick, please have it
also on a file at the congress.
Technical info:
Layout of papers (doc)
Texts and overheads are produced in the language of the session. Please
note that, in the program, the '3B' sessions are in English, the others in
the Scandinavian languages. By agreement with the Congress organizers,
English may also be used in some presentations at the Scandinavian sessions.
Please also note that
An invited speaker who participates for that day only is not obliged to pay
the registration fee. Inform the organisers so
that a separate note for these persons' entry can be made!
One day
speakers do not need to register when the organisers have been informed. A
one day badge can be obtained at the congress reception.
If the
speaker wishes to attend the rest of the Congress, she/he should register
as an ordinary participant.
