The Traffic Authorities' strategies for further
development of the market
Director General Ingemar Skogö is one of the speakers of the first
session carried out in English at Via Nordica 2008. The session highlights
the theme A Common Nordic Infra Market.
In 2003 a project by the same name was started by the Nordic Council of
Ministers. Based on the project the Nordic road and rail authorities have
decided to carry out a set of projects to co-ordinate their procurement
methodologies.
Ingemar Skogö, chairman of the Swedish section of NRA, has been Director
General at the Swedish Road Administration since 2001. Before that he had
the same position at LFV, the Swedish aviation authorities. On Monday 9 June
Mr Skogö will reveal the strategies that are to improve the Nordic market.
